CVD Equipment Corporation Announces Change in Previously Filed Public Offering
RONKONKOMA, N.Y., September 10, 2007 -- CVD Equipment Corporation (AMEX:CVV), a designer
and manufacturer of state-of-the-art equipment used in the development, design and manufacture of advanced electronic
components, materials and coatings for research and industrial applications, announced today that it is reducing the
size of its previously filed offering of common stock from 2,500,000 to 1,250,000 shares. Additionally, any shares
sold as part of the underwriter's over-allotment option will be newly-issued shares from the Company and not from
shares presently held by certain officers and directors. CVD intends to use the proceeds from the offering for
general corporate purposes, including, but not limited to, possible future product development efforts, acquisitions,
or strategic alliances.
The Company has decided, due to recent market conditions to reduce the number of shares offered to 1,250,000. It has received
a proposed commitment from its current bank to increase its revolving credit facility by $3,000,000.
An S-1 registration statement relating to the offering was previously filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, but has not yet
become effective. The shares of common stock may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration
