CVD Equipment Corporation, Ronkonkoma, New York (NASDAQ: CVDE) announces that effective Monday, June 4, 2001, CVD Equipment Corporation's stock will be traded on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX) under the symbol C V V.

CVD Equipment Corporation is excited that another piece to the puzzle in its growth strategy will be achieved with the Amex listing. The change will provide national coverage and allow the brokerage community and shareholders easier access and exposure to our Company's stock.
